About this dataset

This layer shows the boundary of the Eastern Virginia Groundwater Management Area, which was expanded to include the northern portion of the Virginia Coastal Plain as of January 1, 2014 (amendments to 9VAC25-600). Original file received from Virginia DEQ Office of Water on 11-4-2014. County polygons merged to show outside extent of GWMA only.
