About this dataset
College Affordability and Transparency Center (CATC) data files published by the U.S. Department of Education, built from IPEDS data. Each year's workbook lists Title IV institutions nationwide with tuition and required fees, average net price of attendance, and year-over-year percent change in both, by sector of institution, along with summary statistics used to flag high/low-cost and high-increase institutions. Each file includes an embedded Introduction and Variable Values sheet documenting all fields.
