<p>This report estimates the economic value of family caregiving at $450 billion in 2009 based on 42.1 million caregivers age 18 or older providing an average of 18.4 hours of care per week to care recipients age 18 or older, at an average value of $11.16 per hour.</p> <p><strong><em>This data is not collected by a government agency.
