Maximum transparency and working in the open, co-creating solutions with the public as equal partners, is our default position at HealthData.gov. All HHS Divisions are promoting radical transparency to ensure Americans know what information is housed by HHS and how their data are responsibly stewarded, safeguarded, and managed by HHS Divisions.
Collectively, open initiatives embrace data, design, evidence-based policymaking, and emerging technologies to become a more data-driven, accountable, and responsive government to the citizens we serve. Below are examples of HHS initiatives and interagency efforts fueled by HHS Open Data and transparency.
